The museums of the region host exhibits covering millennia of culture, conquests and accomplishments. Folk collections or natural history museums are found in Bourazani, Kerasovo, Kefalochori, Amaranto and Mazi. In Konitsa, at the site of the old Muslim school under the Mosque, there is a photographic exhibition, where the visitor finds the historical course of Konitsa. Also in Bourazani there is a permanent private exhibit of aesthetic wood carving.

In our Museum you can see all kinds of Plants, all Orchids, Butterflies, Reptiles, Amphibians, Libeloules and Orthoptera in the “Bourazani” area. You will also notice all kinds of fish on the Aoos River.
The flora of the region is characterized by an extraordinarily large wealth of orchids, corresponding to 15% (51 plant taxa of the Orchidaceae family) of the total number of flora species in the region. This is, as far as we know, the largest number of orthoids that have been recorded so far in a relatively small area.
The educational visits and activities at the Museum of Natural History and the Bourazani Environmental Park contribute to the valid knowledge and the formation of environmental consciousness.
The educational visits to the Natural History Museum and the “Bourazani” Environmental Park are organized in the afternoon and are aimed at individual visitors, organized groups, students and students.
The aim of the educational visits is to get to know the history of the region, to strengthen the connection with nature and to cultivate attitudes and values ​​positive for the preservation of natural wealth not only through knowledge but through the pleasure of observation and research, cooperation and creativity.

Ethnological Museum of Epiroton Mastoron

The stone building of the old school of Pyrsogianni, built in 1927, was recently renovated to house the Ethnological Museum of Epiroton Mastoron, which is an important contribution to the unknown history of the Epirus stone masons.
The Museum hosts over 2500 photographs, drawings, stampings, mappings, as well as rare material related to the secret language of Masons, so-called “Kudarica”, routes, tools, contracts and constructions of stone masons.
The material exhibited at the Masters Museum of Stone of Pyrsogiann is a systematic record of the local architecture, the materials of each region and the aesthetic trends of the last three centuries in the Balkans.

Folklore Museum

The Folklore Museum of Agia Paraskevi has more than 500 exhibits of our folk culture and is exhibited in a lovely listed building in the village square.
During the Ottoman rule he was the local bey. After liberation (1913) it was converted into a School until 1952. In 2010 it became Folklore Museum and houses the treasures of our folk culture.

The Museum of Chionades Painters will be housed in the building of the old school of Chionades that is being renovated for this purpose. His collections include works by Snow People of painters and hagiographers such as portable icons in wood and cloth, designs and anthologies, painters and carved chests etc.
It also includes paraphernalia of their work, standard notebooks, contracts, photos and other documents for their life and art. The Museum has at its disposal important archives that will be used to showcase the art of the Snow People’s painters.
Its aim is to explore every kind of folk artistic creation in combination with the work of Snow-wood carpenters-wood-sculptors, with which they are directly linked to become a point of reference and research of the rich work of the Snow-painters.

Photographic exhibition

The photographic exhibition of the monuments of Konitsa and the wider region is housed in a restored traditional building, in the southeastern corner of the city, near Aoos stone bridge and next to the Suleyman Mosque.
According to the inscription in Arabic alphabet, which is built on the left of the entrance, the building was built in 1869-70 to function as a teaching facility.
His founder is Sheih Zourabis, who in the inscription describes the school as “a cradle of learning and study”.
After the liberation, in 1913 and for many years the building was a Kindergarten. Today it hosts the photographic exhibition of the historical course of Konitsa and is a reception area of ​​the Ministry of Culture and the promotion of the monuments and antiquities of the city and the wider region.
Colorful photographs cover a very long period of human presence in the area since 15,000 BC. until the end of the 19th century AD

Environmental Park “Bourazani”
Within Wildlife Park’s Wildlife Park, guests can go by bus or private car under the guidance of Park Managers.

The Folklore-Historical Museum is located in Kefalochori and is housed in the residence of Papa-Thomas Fassoulis, which was granted by his son Demetrios Th. Fassoulis for this purpose.
The museum collection, which the active, Dimitris Th. Fassoulis, the sister of Vasiliki Th. Fassoulis and her husband Dimitrios V. Fassoulis have collected with love and passion, includes many tools and objects, as well as photographs of the past, are witnesses of a time of aloftness that is slowly being lost … witnesses to the everyday life and work of the inhabitants of Mastorohoria, the wars and the difficulties, but also the joy and festivities of the area of ​​Mastorohoria.
